Hideaway Resort is passionate about including the Tongan Cultural life style and daily way of living for an authentic Tongan experience. You can learn to make tapa cloth and weaving baskets with the local people for they have classes for visitors to attend. The local kava drinking with the local kava drinkers in the own villages are available if you want to participate in these Tongan Traditional Cultural Ceremonies and get a local insight into Tongan village lifestyle which it's totally unique where you can also experience from it.
Hideaway Resort is located right on the ocean's edge where you can watch the whales swim by regularly every day in the months of July to November. Hideaway Resort also provide soft adventure activities like trekking, horse riding on beach, caving, rock climbing, 4wd Island Tour, scuba diving+ whale watching. Because the resort has only eight rooms, it is nice size backpackers for personal interaction with local Tongans and the owners + operators of ‘Eua Island.

The spectacular view of Hideaway accommodation is best ideal for our friendly visitors. Hideaway ‘Eua also provides different tours for their guest to choose from but upon request. Their lovely six Standard Rooms and two Tongan Fales can accommodate either single, double or any number of guests up to 5 guests, which they also provide dining facilities within the accommodation. Roaming around ‘Eua, you will be able to learn more of Tongan Culture from our local friendly people. The owners of Hideaway are warmly welcome everyone to their place.

If there is another booking that needs the room then we will ask for the room. However, if we do not need the room then the guest can use it.
Children policy:
- Children 12 years of age will be charged as adults
- Children under 12 years of age to 3 years old will be paid half price
- Children under 3 years of age to infants are Free of Charge (FOC)
