The tour then set off on a one-hour paddle through beautiful clear waters inhabited by sea turtles, dolphins and humpback whales. We arrived at Makaha'a Island for a beverage break, and allow you time to walk around and explore. Makaha'a Island is owned by Princess Pilolevu and has a small shellfish processing operation on part of the island.
We then paddle for 30 minutes over to Pangaimotu Island Resort where we have lunch at their waterfront restaurant. After lunch, there is ample time to snorkel next to the shipwreck, explore the island, or simply relax in this beautiful unspoilt setting.
After spending 2.5 hours on Pangaimotu Island, we end our exciting day with a final 30-minute paddle back to our landing spot in Papiloa (Nuku'alofa) where guests are then returned back to their lodging.
