One boat is based in Neiafu will pick-up clients from outer island resorts, whilst the other boat is based at Mounu for our resort clients.
Maximum 8 pax, per boat
It is necessary to understand that we do not swim with the whales every day. Weather conditions play a role as safety is a prime concern and we need to find user friendly whales.
We are not in the business of dumping people in the water hoping they will catch a glimpse of a whale passing by. We are in the business of encounters and our experiences and
knowledge of the whales allows us to determine which whales we can approach for a successful encounter. We recommend clients that they are allowed in 3 days to ensure that magical encounter.

Both boats have upper viewing decks for great topside viewing and photographing. Each boat has a toilet with a holding tank, easy access dive platform and clear drop down covers in case of rain. The boats are powered by twin 150hp outboards ensuring we are able to cover a large area to find the user friendly whales. Our qualified skippers and guides have a wealth of experience to ensure your safety and maximize your encounters. The decision, the swim with the whales rests solely with the skipper. We take a maximum of 8 passengers per boat that is broken down into 2 groups of 4 plus a guide. Regulations stipulate no more than 4 swimmers plus a guide may be allowed in the water on any encounter and experience has shown by only having 2 groups nobody is disappointed.

Participant guidelines
You will receive a full briefing on departure and a running commentary during the trip explaining the many facets of the whales behaviour you witness. We supply snorkel gear, fresh fruit and bottle of water for your trip. Packed lunches can be ordered if required.
