This is your chance to learn about the long and fascinating history by exploring the eastern side of Tongatapu on this guided tour. This trek is for the more adventurous, starting at the north-east tip of 'Eua at Kahana Springs. As you walk along the edge of the cliffs there is a stunning view of the beaches below.

Malumalu ‘o Fulilangi is the local name for the site the famous British explorer Captain Cook landed on 30^th April 1977 where an offspring of the ‘Ovava Tree (Banyan) is still standing, alleged to be where the seafarer rested after anchoring the Endeavor offshore in the lagoon.

Eua is the place to go for those who want to watch the whales, but don't want to go out to sea. From July to November you can watch from land as the majestic humpback whales swim pas ‘Eua en route to their breeding grounds in Vava'u.
